The AUSTRALIAN HARD ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP heads to Wattle Flat, OCTOBER 3 & 4 for Round 5 – Goldfields Extreme, the gold-country showdown and season decider. Just 25 minutes north of Bathurst on 3500 acres of private land, this place is fast becoming a world-class hard enduro playground.
Goldfields lives up to its name with rocky hillsides, deep ravines, long climbs and brutal elevation changes. Expect technical rock gardens, off-camber single track and terrain that gets seriously slick when it’s wet.
This round rewards smart line choice, rock skills and serious fitness.
Run as a two-day hard enduro, Goldfields Extreme gives riders plenty of track time, with multiple races across the weekend and combined results deciding the final standings. It’s the perfect stage for the championship to be settled on steep, unforgiving gold-country hills.

All classes are spread across three difficulty lines, so everyone shares the same atmosphere while riding a track that matches their level. With clearly marked tracks and sweep riders on course, you can focus on surviving Goldfields and bagging those all-important final-round points.
Enduro Gear will be on site all weekend with quality riding gear, bike products and event merch, with a portion of sales going straight back into supporting Goldfields Extreme – helping improve tracks, facilities and future events for the hard enduro community.
The finale, the rocks, the ravines – this is where it all gets decided. Don’t miss it.
