Golden and Silver Falls Hike

Hidden gems in the dense emerald forests of southwest Oregon, Golden and Silver Falls are transformed by the spring rains into raging giants. During the 3 mile, moderately-strenuous, hike we will explore the falls and rich natural and cultural history of this special place. Things to bring: rain gear, sturdy hiking boots, camera, water bottle, lunch and plenty of snacks. We will provide transportation from Coos Bay. Please meet at the Coos Bay DMV parking lot located at 1155 S 5th St, Coos Bay, OR 97420 by 9:45 am.[Max. – 16 participants] (FREE but registration is required) Programs may be cancelled due to low enrollment or hazardous weather.
