Participants will learn how gold masks and other ceremonial objects were crafted and used to symbolize power, status, and spiritual beliefs. After examining the history and design of these extraordinary artifacts, attendees will create and emboss their own replica of the museum’s gold mask to take home. This hands-on workshop combines art, history, and creativity, offering a unique glimpse into the craftsmanship of ancient Peru.
