A unique combination of ultra-endurance trained and historically enthusiastic athletes, our presenters, History Expeditions, discovered and retraced the steps of the advance group from the Stephens-Townsend-Murphy Party, the Horseback Party of Six.The explorers will recount their experiences from their expedition on horseback – and foot, having completed the 5-day, 100-mile reprise across the Sierra in September. They’ll also recount how four of the expedition team members learned endurance riding from scratch in a year to accomplish the feat. And of course, sharing several stories about Stephens-Townsend-Murphy and new people discoveries from their 18 months of research. We hope you can join us.
