Celebrate the Australian spirit at the Gold Coast’s premier Australia Day event! Join the community at HOTA for a relaxed afternoon of live music, delicious food, and family fun.Following the city’s formal citizenship ceremony, the parklands will come alive with local talent on the Outdoor Stage and plenty of free activities to keep the kids entertained.

Pack a picnic or grab a bite from the food trucks as we reflect, respect, and celebrate together, ending the night with a spectacular fireworks display set against the iconic Surfers Paradise skyline.

• Location: HOTA Outdoor Stage & Parklands, 135 Bundall Road, Surfers Paradise
• Cost: FREE (No tickets required)

What’s On:

• Live Music: Performances by local favorite 42BAND and other local acts on the HOTA Outdoor Stage from 4:00 PM.
• Kids' Activities: A variety of free, fun-filled activities and workshops for children.
• Food Trucks: An assortment of local food vendors serving up a range of delicious cuisines and carnival treats.
• Fireworks Finale: A dazzling fireworks display will light up the sky at approximately 7:05 PM.

The official Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony precedes the public celebrations at 3:30 PM and is an invite-only event.
