Manchester’s own GoGo Penguin team up with cognitive design studio TENENTNET for APOPHENIA – a feature-length show that combines live music with ground-breaking visuals.GoGo Penguin have crafted an emotionally expansive sound that fuses electronica, trip-hop, jazz, rock and minimalism. Featuring Chris Illingworth on piano, Nick Blacka on bass and Jon Scott on drums, the trio are known for their captivating live performances.
Fresh from the success of their latest album Everything Is Going to Be Ok (2023), GoGo Penguin join up with TENENTNET – a London based design studio interested in futuristic technology. The seeds for APOPHENIA were planted when the band worked with creative director Jordan Copeland and drew inspiration from their use of new techniques and technology.
Celebrate one of Manchester’s most innovative bands as they perform at Aviva Studios for the first time.
