The Abbotsford Film Society kicks off it's 2026-27 season with the original Godzilla, a thrilling, tactile spectacle that continues to be a cult phenomenon. Made at a time when Japan was reeling from nuclear attack and H-bomb testing in the Pacific. Its rampaging radioactive beast, the poignant embodiment of an entire population’s fears, became a beloved international icon of destruction, spawning more than thirty sequels.
Concession is available inside the venue. Doors open at 7:30 pm. Film at 8:00 pm. Tickets are also available at the door.

Film Rating: PG, due to its classic black-and-white monster violence and dark thematic tone.
