A tour of Goddesses in the world's oldest museum with award-winning writer, broadcaster and priestess Bernadette Vallely. All Welcome. Limited spaces. Advance tickets advisable.
See the treasures of the Ashmolean with new eyes in this special walking tour to meet ancient Goddesses and priestesses from Greece, Rome, Egypt and beyond. Learn about Diana and her worship in London and spend time with Al'Lat, the ancient Palestinian Goddess of fertility, love and protection.
Meet at 1.15pm inside the entrance to the museum. The tour will be in two halves, with a break for tea and discussion in the café. The tour finishes at 4.30pm and the museum closes at 5pm.
Bernadette Vallely has given private tours in the British Museum since 2022, bringing her knowledge, research and Goddess veneration to share with people. This is the first time she has led a tour at the Ashmolean, the world's oldest museum. She is generously offering this event as a fund-raiser for Oxford Community Goddess Temple.
Praise for Bernadette's tours:
“A wonderful insight.” Clare Downie, Hertfordshire
"well-informed, researched, and conveyed with insight, intuition and passion.” Chris RJ & family, South Wales
"Opened up a whole new way of experiencing museums for me" Jackie Singer, Oxford

Bernadette Vallely is author of the original study, The London Goddess tracing goddess worship in Roman London.
