As our community approaches the two hundred fiftieth anniversary of our nation’s founding, the churches of downtown Erwin will gather for a united service of worship on Sunday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m.
This service will be held at First Baptist Church, but it is truly a shared offering of worship among our congregations, as we come together in a spirit of Christian unity. We gather not to exalt a nation, but to glorify our Lord, who is sovereign over all.
You are warmly invited to join us for this sacred hour of prayer, Scripture, and song, as we lift our hearts together in thanksgiving to God and bear witness to the Lordship of Jesus Christ over His Church and over every nation under heaven.
A combined choir is also being formed from among our churches for this service, and all who love to sing are encouraged to participate. Those interested may text 423-220-7100 to receive further information regarding rehearsals.
