If Jesus Started a Church Today…
Week 4: God Doesn't Need More Worship Services
The prophet Amos says something churches rarely put on a banner. In his words, God is tired of our festivals and doesn't want to hear our songs. What God wants is justice rolling down like water.
That's an uncomfortable message to hear in a worship service, which is exactly why we need to hear it.
If Jesus started a church today, would Sunday morning be its center? Or would it be measured by what happens the other six days?
