🐾🏃♂️ **BIG NEWS, BIG SPRING! The 2nd Annual Gobble & Give 5K Run & Pet Walk is Back—and Helping Our Community, One Cat at a Time!** 🦃🍂
Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 14th! We are lace-up ready and so excited to bring the community together at Comanche Trail Park for a morning of active fun, heavy cheering, and lots of wagging tails!
This year’s race is incredibly close to our hearts. All proceeds from the event will go directly toward funding our brand-new, donor-supported Angel Fund! 👼❤️
The Angel Fund was created to help reduce the number of unwanted cats in Big Spring by providing discounted spay and neuter surgeries for local felines through the generosity of community support!
Whether you want to smash a new personal 5K record, take a scenic 1-mile stroll with your pup, or support a great cause, there is a spot for everyone!
### 🏃 Event & Registration Details
🏅 Entry Fee: $75 (Includes your official event T-Shirt!)
👕 Extra Shirts: Want a backup or one for a cheerleader in the family? Additional event shirts are $30.
🐕 Pet Costume Contest: Enter your furry friend for just $5 and show off their best autumn look! 🎃
🎟️ Raffle Tickets: We’ll have awesome prizes up for grabs! Tickets are $5 for prizes.
### 🐱 How the Angel Fund Helps Feline Patients
The Angel Fund will discount:
🐱 Spay or Neuter Surgery (Covered by Angel Fund proceeds!)
Cat Owner Responsibilities & Pricing:
To ensure the health and safety of every patient, cat owners participating in the Angel Fund program are responsible for required baseline care:
🩺 Wellness Examination (Required)
🩸 FeLV/FIV Test (Required)
💉 Rabies Vaccination (Required)
Please note: For the safety of all our two-legged and four-legged participants, all pets attending the race must be kept on a leash at all times.
