Join Sustain Rockford for a hands-on, down-to-earth experience! Learn how to turn your food scraps into black gold with our fun and easy “Compost in a Bag” activity—perfect for all ages. We’ll also help you crack the code on curbside recycling: what goes in your bin, what doesn’t, and why it matters. Stop by, get your hands a little dirty (in a good way!), and leave empowered to reduce waste at home and help our planet thrive.
We will be at the Rockford Day Block Party from 11am - 2pm. Food trucks, music, vendors, live print and more. Corner of State and First Streets
