💡 GLOW RUN 2026 KICKS OFF! 💡
It's Glow Run season! The 2026 Go Glow Run will race in on FRIDAY OCTOBER 16th, 6pm-8pm outdoors around the York Avenue Elementary School grounds! Let's GLOOOOW!
The Go Glow Run is York Ave's biggest fundraiser of the year! Students collect donations for pledging to run laps at a bright, fun course around school, to raise the funds essential for bringing events, teacher grants, student club support, classroom supplies, and much more to our staff, students, and families. YA's 100th anniversary makes for an especially buzzworthy fundraiser with an ambitious goal, and we can't wait to see what new, glow-riffic plans and "YA 100" surprises the Glow Run Committee has in store for everyone this October!
We want students to be actively involved in raising funds that H&S uses directly for their benefit. Friends, family, neighbors and workplaces have all been great sources of support!
To guarantee your student gets a "swag bag" 🛍️ (a bag of cool stuff!), please submit donations by October 11th, 2026.
We will continue to collect donations through October 16th (Glow Run Day).
Once all donations are collected, we will determine who will win 🌟individual and class prizes🌟 for top donation totals!

Plan to Go Glow at the Glow Run? Students and adults alike have a blast enjoying this colorful, high-energy night together. It is super fun to cheer on students as they complete each lap! We have plenty of opportunities to volunteer and watch your kids run all at the same time! Maybe you would like to help before the event, after, or on a different day. We have many choices for you! Older siblings/YA alumni are also able to sign up and assist in any area. We love alumni participation!
