GM4Women2028 Dialogue, Deeds & Determination 2026
About this Event
Attend and play a role in the progression of women's rights by helping turn collected data into action. Let’s unite, connect with and hear from community groups, charities, trailblazing girls, feminist leaders and policymakers – all while taking part in thought-provoking workshops and watching entertaining performances.
Format of the day
Following an introduction by our convenor, Helen Pankhurst CBE, who’ll set the scene for the day, and continuing with other prominent guest speakers and contributors including Kate Green, Deputy Mayor for Greater Manchester, who'll present the opening speech, Councillor Faisal Rana and Councillor Iram Faisal, Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, who'll welcome attendees to Rochdale, and Hannah Spencer MP, who'll deliver the closing speech.
The rest of the day will comprise plenary and breakout sessions, performances and networking – concluding with wrapping up and celebrating. There will also be fantastic organisations hosting stalls for you to learn more about what they do to progress the equality agenda and how you can get involved.

Refreshments
It’s free to attend, and refreshments, lunch, celebratory cake and non-alcoholic fizz will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when obtaining your ticket. While there is no charge to attend, optional donations can be made when booking to help support our ongoing work and enable us to continue delivering free events that bring people together to drive positive change for women and girls across Greater Manchester.
