Programme Objectives

• to increase participation in environmental programmes by under-represented groups
• to co-create environmental and nature-based solutions to improve health, well-being, and community cohesion
• to increase learning and green skills
• to promote sustainability leadership and mentorship
• to provide replicable case studies to be adopted in the future both across local authorities and by the communities themselves
• to create a valid data set of consolidated barriers and motivations for under-represented groups across London
• to learn effective tools for engagement
• to have fun

To meet our objectives, we are delivering:

In-Person Resident Workshops and Mentoring Sessions - Thursdays 11 am to 1 pm

Social Media Outreach and Engagement

– 3 questions less than 1 minute

– 16 questions (discuss and refine) – less than 5 minutes to complete

– 22 questions, less than 10 minutes to complete

Outreach and Engagement Events

In-Person monthly Door Knocking Workshops and regular participation at Glyndon Ward Stakeholder Events

Online Clinical Supervision Workshops - Wednesdays 10 am to 12 pm

Safeguarding Provision for Volunteer Resident Coordinators

In-Person Glyndon Community Recycling Events - Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm

If you agree to participate, all the information you provide will be confidential.

Participation starts by getting your views about a range of sustainability development goals that may affect you and moves on to ask you how you feel about global environmental problems.

If you don't want to answer all of the questions, you don't have to - please just do what you can. It shouldn’t take long to complete, and we hope you’ll enjoy it.

The survey will provide useful information and valuable insight into how people like you feel about certain environmental challenges and how you feel they should be tackled locally.

• It will contribute to raising programme awareness, building rapport, trust, and resident engagement, and perhaps validity.
• It will help co-develop a friends and allies database and directories, foster knowledge sharing, best practices, and help fill gaps.
• It will update stakeholders and by doing so co-deliver evidenced based sustainability interventions for Glyndon Ward Communities. It will contribute to meeting global sustainability development goals.
