This month the Spiritual Sisters will be glowing up and taking pics by the pool!
The event starts at 5 pm at my house in East Mesa. Dress code is neon swimwear. Tickets are $40 each. Women and couples are invited to join. The event will be potluck style and 420 friendly. Ask for an invite to the group chat to sync up with everyone.
Pull out your most neon fabulous bathing suit and let’s get colorful! I will have stickers, glow sticks, neon body crayons, neon body paint and stencils for everyone. Paint your own body or paint each other!
Historically, body paint was believed to act as a spiritual shield, cleansing negative energy and providing an armor of divine protection during transitional or sacred moments in a person's life. What better time to experience this than a new moon?!?🌑
Specific colors hold distinct spiritual frequencies. For example, across traditions, red evokes raw power and healing, white represents peace and harmony, and purple is often reserved by shamans for spiritual ceremonies and magic to connect to spirit.
As we finish painting I will lead us into a mindful meditation to focus on embracing our body and all the colors that interact with it to externalize hidden aspects of our soul.
Once it is dark enough we will turn our painted bodies into art! As the black lights illuminate our souls my goal is to catch the essence of this moment during a photo shoot. Each person will then get one professionally edited photo and a group photo included in their ticket.
