Glow Wild Lantern Festival returns to Peoria Zoo this spring, transforming the grounds into a dazzling wonderland of light, color, and cultural artistry. Back for another unforgettable season, this year’s festival features an all new lineup of handcrafted lantern displays, immersive experiences, delicious food and drinks, and live entertainment for guests of all ages.Presented by Kaleido Entertainment in collaboration with the Peoria Park District, Glow Wild offers a reimagined luminescent journey celebrating traditional Chinese lantern craftsmanship, interactive elements, and breathtaking performances. ✨🏮

🏮 All New Lantern Displays: A completely refreshed collection of larger than life lantern creations inspired by animals, nature, and fantastical scenes, lighting up the Zoo’s pathways with vibrant color and intricate detail.
🤸 Live Acrobatic Performances: World class Chinese acrobats included with admission.
🎨 Interactive Experiences: Hands on elements and family friendly activities throughout the festival.
🍜 Food & Beverages: Themed treats and refreshments available for purchase along the glowing trails.
🎵 Entertainment: Live music from local bands each Saturday night. Full schedule coming soon!
🌙 Please Note: Glow Wild is a special nighttime lantern festival held after regular Zoo hours. Zoo animals will not be on exhibit during event hours.
🌅 Arrive early to enjoy food, activities, and sunset views over the African savanna, then stay as dusk falls and the lanterns come to life. For the full glow experience, we recommend staying past sunset.
