You know the glow everyone keeps complimenting? It’s not your highlighter. It’s what’s underneath.
Glow From Within is the flagship Mental Beauty Reset™ — a 3.5-hour therapist-led experience where clinical mental health meets luxury beauty and real community.
This is the one women ask about, talk about, and come back to. Kept intentionally intimate — no more than 15 women — so no one gets lost in the room, and everyone actually gets to be known.
The theme: what’s underneath changes everything. Your skin undertone decides which shades actually make you glow. Your emotional undertone — the core beliefs running quietly underneath your confidence and the way your body reacts when stressed — these decide how you walk into every room and we are talking about them, together.
On July 26, we tend to both. On an Oakland rooftop. Surrounded by women who get it.
Here’s what your afternoon looks like:
- Grounding breathwork to arrive and drop in
- A therapist-led exploration of core beliefs, guilt, shame, and insight into our dysregulation states when stressed (the part only a licensed clinician can hold)
- Guided small-group discussion + private reflection
- A hands-on DIY shimmer oil station
- A live undertone & color analysis with Katie, our licensed esthetician & MUA — color theory for melanated skin, how to identify your own undertone, and shade recommendations for foundation, lip, and even clothing
- A mirror affirmation activity— writing a new belief and letting the old one go
- A dissolving paper release activity
- A deeper “getting to know each other” segment near the end — to foster a real connection with women who also invest in their wellness. This is where friendships can start.

Meet Katie Yen, your esthetician & MUA: “Makeup is a tool to enhance the beauty that’s already within.”Katie will help you learn to shade-match yourself for any base product, so you never second-guess a foundation again. She demystifies the thing most women get wrong (undertone vs. overtone) and takes the pressure off entirely.

VIP add-on — +$35 (one-on-one with Katie, 5 spots only)
The VIP option (5 spots): arrive an hour early for private one-on-one time with Katie — a full undertone analysis, personalized shade recommendations written down to take home, skincare prep guidance, and a review of your own products (she’ll tell you what works and what to swap). When you grab VIP, you’ll get a short private form to share your specific concerns, so Katie can prepare just for you before the event.
A note on makeup: for the group undertone & color analysis, coming with bare orminimal makeup helps you get the most from it. If you choose VIP, same — a bare facelets Katie do your deeper individual dive (which is separate from, and more personalizedthan, the group analysis). Optional either way; come however you feel most like yourself.
This isn’t a workshop and it isn’t a party. It’s the exhale you haven’t let yourself take.
What makes this different: Most wellness events are led by someone hoping the room
stays light. This one is led by a licensed clinician trained to hold it when it goes deep —
which is exactly why women cry here, and exactly why they come back.
If you’d like, wear your favorite shades of brown — warm, earthy, glowy tones. Totally optional; come as you are.
