Glow & Ghouls: Halloween Luminary 1-Day Ceramics Workshop

Celebrate the spooky season by creating your very own handcrafted ceramic Halloween luminary!
In this fun, beginner-friendly workshop, you'll use handbuilding techniques and a cylinder form to create a one-of-a-kind luminary perfect for displaying a candle or LED tea light. Personalize your piece by carving festive Halloween-inspired designs—pumpkins, ghosts, bats, haunted houses, stars, moons, or your own creative motifs. Whether you prefer spooky or sweet, you'll leave with a festive decoration that's uniquely yours.
Once your luminary is complete, you'll choose a glaze from our selection, and our studio staff will professionally glaze and fire your work.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks—just in time to display for Halloween!
All materials are included, and no prior clay experience is necessary.
Recommended for ages 10 and up.
The primary tool used during this workshop is an X-Acto knife, so participants should be comfortable using a sharp cutting tool safely.
Participants under the age of 16 are welcome to attend with a paid participating adult. The accompanying parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring their child can safely and responsibly use the X-Acto knife and should be prepared to assist them throughout the workshop if needed.
Children ages 16 and older may attend independently and do not need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
