Come join us for a day dedicated to saving the planet at The Plaza Coral Gables! 🌍🌿

Get ready to learn about the importance of recycling and how you can make a difference in your community. There will be an interactive children's book reading, educational booths, and fun activities for all ages!

Bring your bottles and containers from home too see the live recycling process
Discover the magic of recycled glass, sand, and art.
Learn about composting leftover food and how it can be used instead of thrown away
3PM: Join us for a reading of Juanito's Adventures, a children's book teaching the importance of composting. The first 20 children get a complimentary copy of the book.

Juanito is a dog who lives in Miami and turns "trash" into fertile soil. His friends are typical animals from South Florida that are now worried about the environment because of some things they are seeing. Join Juanito as he inspires his friends to care for the planet. In this book children will have fun while learning how composting can make a difference and help build a better future for everyone!

Paola and Francisco hope to give parents and caretakers a chance to make a difference, by teaching their children how to build a world where a significant portion of waste can be utilized for good.

Juanito es un perro que vive en Miami y convierte la "basura" en tierra fértil. Sus amigos son animales típicos del sur de la Florida que ahora enfrentan diferentes preocupaciones ambientales. ¡Acompaña a Juanito a inspirar a sus amigos y aprende cómo la composta puede hacer el cambio y ayudar a construir un mejor futuro para todos!
