Join us at the Kirkdale Neighbourhood Community Centre for this exciting event celebrating cultures from all around the world! Whether you're a music lover eager to dance to international beats, or simply curious to explore different traditions, Global Liverpool is the place to be. Immerse yourself in a day filled with vibrant performances and interactive workshops, find out about issues making people's lives harder and explore the information stalls showcasing advice, support and community organisations. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and celebrate the rich tapestry of our global community. See you there!
GTDT will be joined by many other support organisations in celebrating the roots and routes which brought us to our Liverpool, this wonderfully welcoming city of refuge!
We are inviting the community to come together for a celebration of some of the many cultures which inform our heritage: through arts, dance, music, poetry, food and all the things which make our human lives more enjoyable!
Admission is free and there will be free activities for the whole family!
Global Liverpool is delivered through the power of volunteers and recognises the value of sharing skills to benefit the wider community as well as individual's personal development.
We will use this as an opportunity to raise awareness of different issues and provide a platform for people from our diverse communities to tell their own stories in their own way.
We live in challenging times and more people than ever need to access advice on how to deal with many different issues, such as the rising cost of living, housing problems and legal matters. We will be joined by a variety of member organisations of the Liverpool Access to Advice Network which will be offering help and support to the local community.
We look forward to welcoming you at our fabulous event and sharing with you all the wonderful contributions from so many different community group.
