About this Event
At this jointly sponsored event, we will welcome Kristina Lai, a 2025-26 recipient of an AAUW American Dissertation Fellowship. She is currently a doctoral candidate in epidemiology at UC Davis. Kristina holds a Masters in Public Health in global epidemiology from Emory University and a B.S. in microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics from UCLA.
Ms. Lai will share insights from her decade of experience working in public health both in the US and internationally. In addition, she will discuss how AAUW support has helped her advance her academic and professional goals.
This program is presented by the three Tri-Valley AAUW branches: San Ramon, Danville-Alamo-Walnut Creek and Livermore-Pleasanton-Dublin. Join members and guests from the three branches in enjoying light refreshments at 6:00 with the AAUW Fund speaker’s talk starting at 6:30.
