About this Event
Welcome to the Global Green Industrialisation Forum!
At London Climate Action Week 2026, E3G, UNIDO and DESNZ are convening ministers, industry leaders, and international institutions to focus on how the transition to greener industry can strengthen competitiveness, resilience, and long-term growth.
Industrial policy is back at the centre of geopolitical decision-making. As governments recognise the centrality of green industries to energy security, economic development and a safe climate, attention is turning from ambition to implementation: how to scale investment, accelerate delivery, and build industrial systems of the future.
The Global Green Industrialisation Forum will comprise practical, forward-looking discussions in advance of the launch of the Global Green Industrialization Agenda at COP31. The meeting will kick-off with a 2-part public panel including a flagship Ministerial and a strategic discussion on industrial decarbonisation partnerships and hubs. Later in the day there will be a private policy roundtable.
Agenda
π: 09:00 AM - 09:40 AM
Panel β Global Green Industrialisation Ministerial: From Ambition to Delivery
Info: This flagship ministerial panel will explore what governments and other stakeholders need to do together to unleash green industries, and in turn help communities, consumers and businesses thrive. Speakers will discuss how the Global Green Industrialization Agenda can support this coordinated international action.
π: 09:45 AM - 10:30 AM
Panel β Industrial Decarbonisation Hubs and Country Partnerships
Info: This high-level panel will build on the Ministerial by exploring how collaborative delivery models, industrial decarbonisation hubs and country partnerships can help accelerate investment and bring about real economy change. Drawing on lessons from existing initiatives, the discussion will examine how governments, industry, financiers, and international organisations can better coordinate future partnerships to scale support for green industrialisation at scale in emerging markets and developing economies. We will look at how the Plans to Accelerate Solutions, launched at COP30, can help to coordinate international activity to accelerate industrial transitions.
