Global Graze: Small Bites, Big Change
About this Event
Global Graze: Small Bites, Big Change--presented by Practical Farmers of Iowa
Join us on the evening of Thursday, September 17 at the Olympic South Side Theater for Feed Iowa First's annual foodie fundraiser. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
Global Graze is a celebration of local food and global flavor, inspired by the energy and diversity of street food festivals around the world. The event highlights produce grown by farmers in Feed Iowa First’s farm business incubator and the talented local chefs who transform it into unforgettable dishes. Participating restaurants—including Map Room, Saatvik Swaad, Big Grove, The Hip-Stir, Black Sheep Social Club, Lamb’s Quarter Livestock, Snacky Mini Mart, and Goldfinch Tap + Eatery—and farmers will be paired to create bite-sized tastings that showcase international street food flavors with local roots.
At the event, we'll be highlighting the hard work of the farmers we support, including Black Earth Gardens, Afro-Iowa Unity Farm, We the Farm Family, and AP Farms.
As we celebrate, we’ll also reflect on 15 years of Feed Iowa First’s work fighting food insecurity by growing food and supporting farmers. Our mission addresses hunger today while investing in the future through land and resource access for the next generation of farmers. Throughout the evening, you’ll have opportunities to learn more about our impact and support this important work.
