Global Citizenship Music Festival

The Global Citizen Music Festival is a FREE event celebrating brotherhood and our shared humanity. It will present music from many cultures, with performances by local artists, church choirs, and musicians bringing their talents to New Bern from Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Music has the power to bring people together and bridge cultural divides in a way that very few things can.

The Global Citizenship Music Festival is excited to offer a fun and educational activity for children as part of this year’s event. The FREE Instrument Making Workshop will allow young participants to unleash their creativity by making their own musical instruments using simple, everyday materials. This hands-on activity is designed for children of all ages, providing an opportunity for them to explore the world of music and craftsmanship in a fun, interactive environment.

Bring your family, friends, and a chair to relax and enjoy the lively atmosphere. It’s going to be a fun-filled time with great music, delicious food from a variety of food trucks, and unforgettable memories.
