SAT Nov 8 @ 11AM. Jesus understood the Scriptures that soon He must take up His cross. To confirm the Scriptures and strengthen Him, God sent Moses and Elijah to the Mt. of Transfiguration. However, this celestial visit was not only for Jesus’ sake, but also for that of the disciples. God was also thinking of them. Matthew 17 says Jesus was transfigured before them (v. 2), Moses and Elijah appeared to them (v. 3), and God overshadowed and spoke to them (v. 5). In fact, this heavenly vision reveals how God empowers all of Jesus’ followers, including us today. This is the second presentation in our “Mountain & Multitude Series.”
