Glimmer Globe Theatre Presents: William Shakespeare's 'As You Like It'

Fenimore Art Museum is pleased to present Glimmer Globe Theatre’s 2026 Mainstage Production, Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy As You Like It. Performances will take place Wednesday and Thursday evenings, July 15 through August 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the museum’s Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater.
Set in upstate New York in 1969, this fresh, music-filled production reimagines the bucolic forest of Arden as a vibrant landscape of hippie communes, wandering troubadours, and a wayward black bear, all on their way to attend the “Arden Festival,” modeled after the legendary Woodstock.
As You Like It is directed by Michael Tamburrino and performed primarily in Fenimore’s scenic lakeside Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater. The production is generously sponsored by The Clark Foundation, Hartwick College, Dr. Richard Sternberg in Memory of Dr. Shep J. Friedman, C.J. Heilig Foundation, and NYCM Insurance.

Inclement Weather: In case of inclement weather, the production will be moved indoors to the Fenimore Art Museum Auditorium.
As You Like It features scenic design by Katie Marvel, carpentry by Gary Burlew, costumes by Courtney Murphy, original music by Carl Lowenguth, fight choreography by Jim Drake, choreography by Allie Tabor, special effect props by Kate Simeon, and stage management by Vaughn Wagnecz.
Starring: Victoriana Alfonso, Tanner Griffin, Kaitlin Gonzalez, Andrew Munro, Courtney Murphy, Mark Murphy, John Melvin, Tom Russo, Samantha Sloma, JD Dinh, Cassandra Miller, Justin Raymund, Colleen Bunn, Peter Exton, Tahya Hurn, and Carl Loewenguth.
