Glenview Woods walk

We'll meet in the parking lot. This popular forest preserve is bisected by the North Branch of the Chicago River. To the east of the river, visitors can take advantage of the North Branch Trail. To the west of the river, visitors can walk along unpaved trails and enjoy birds along with other wildlife.

The walk will feature spring arrivals of budding trees, some ephemeral wildflowers and bird songs.

Dress weather appropriate and bring some water for hydration. Wearing good hiking boots is highly recommended along with insect repellent.

Walkers participate at their own risk.
