CARE is calling for the Glens Falls Collaborative to re-imagine their annual Wing Fest by making it an ALL VEGAN spring festival.
Specifically, we are demanding that they:
1) Change the name of the Wing Fest(to Spring Fest)
2) Replace the offensive chicken logo which currently represents the Wing Fest
3) Make the event ALL vegan!
It is 2026. It is time to stop celebrating the cruelty and death of chicken bodies by hosting "Wing Fests". Tens of billions of chickens are tortured and killed each year for the gustatory pleasure of humans. It is time to say NO to the wanton suffering of chickens, and time to say YES to having compassion for all sentient beings.
Please join us from 12PM - 3PM on Saturday, April 25th, as we table, pamphlet, protest, and call on the Glens Falls Collaborative to re-imagine Wing Fest as an all vegan spring festival. We need volunteers for various roles, so please reach out if you can help! Thank you!
