About this Event

From Eric Harvie, who donated his collections to establish Glenbow, to JR Shaw, whose family’s transformational gift enables free general admission forever when the museum reopens next year, Glenbow’s story has been shaped by individuals who believed in creating access to arts and culture as a way to build community. Hear from Dr. Christine Leppard on how the collections continue to shape exhibitions and storytelling, and from Dr. Jocelyn Anderson for a sneak preview of one of Glenbow’s inaugural exhibitions on The Calgary Group, whose work influenced Western Canada’s art scene.
