GLEMSFORD LIBRARY and THE GLEMSFORD PLAYING FIELDS CHARITY are very excited to announce the Glemsford Autumn Sale Trail and Car Boot Sale and Homemade Homegrown Market.Join us for a fun day of exploring the village on our Sale Trail. Visit over 50 stalls around the village, on the playing fields, and in the Village Hall and grab yourself a bargain!
To sign up for the Sale Trail or The Car Boot Sale or the Homemade Homegrown market, pop in to the Library or email [email protected]. All tables and pitches are £10 , pre-book only.
What is it? Its like a yard sale that the covers the whole village, we will have properties selling everything from, furniture, collectables, toys, antiques, craft and homemade items, white goods, building materials, tools, clothes, vinyl, sports items, bric a brac and have even had a boat in the past ! Plus all our local talented artists, crafters, makers and producers will be selling in the village hall and Christmas is not that far round the corner, so get here early, explore our beautiful village and grab a bargain.
Maps showing the locations of all the properties taking part are available £1 each from Glemsford Library and will be available from other shops and businesses around the village from the week before the event, and will be also be available from other locations on route, on the day.
All proceeds will be shared between Glemsford Library which is run by Suffolk Libraries a local charity that sits at the heart of the community and is nationally recognised for work supporting those who are lonely, isolated or excluded AND Glemsford Playing Fields Charity who look after, maintain and improve the playing fields for the benefit of the local community.
There will be a pop up café at the Village Hall serving Tea, Coffee and Cake.
The Angel pub and the Social Club will be open for food and drinks.
The Angel pub will be serving food and drinks from 10am, beer garden and dog friendly!
