This is a special Brews & Brushes being held at Ken’s Garden Center, located at 4121 E Dimond Way, Wasilla, AK 99654!
Brews and Brushes is a small group watercolor workshop where you'll receive personalized attention and guidance as you learn watercolor techniques through simple exercises and projects. No art experience required! Brews and Brushes is designed for all ages* and all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned painter or just starting out, you'll love the laid-back, social atmosphere that's perfect for connecting with fellow art enthusiasts.
For this project we will be painting autumn gourds. Using wet on wet and glazing techniques, we will play with lots of water and pigment to layer color and create soft and hard edges giving us a fun abstract piece of art.
All art supplies provided. All you have to do is show up and play with paint!
Limited seats, advance ticket purchase recommended.
*Though all ages are welcome, projects are generally designed for school age children and up.
