Quilted Glasses Case for Beginners

Learn to sew from the very beginning and create your own quilted glasses case with

a tie closure.

Participants will learn how to thread a sewing machine, practice sewing

straight and consistent seam allowances, and gain confidence with sewing

construction fundamentals.

This class is perfect for someone with little to no previous sewing experience looking to see if sewing is for them, self-taught beginners wanting a guide to the basics and best practices, or hobby collectors looking to add a lifelong skill to their repertoire.

Materials for creating a quilted glasses case will be provided. If you have your own

sewing machine, we recommend bringing it with you so that you can become better

acquainted with how it works! If you don’t have your own, don’t worry! Studio

machines will be available for use.
