Saturday, October 12th, 1 hour slots starting at 11am, $70*
**September will feature glass pumpkins as an additional project choice - all of our other choices are still available (rocks glass, stemless wine glass, paperweight, flower, etc.)
Glassblowing is back! We hope you’ll join us as we host the mobile glassblowing studio of McFadden Glass. Their talented instructors will help you every step of the way as you heat, color, turn, pull, and shape your creation. They always have a handful of shapes to choose from, including but not limited to stemless wine glasses, rocks glasses, paperweights and flowers. Children are welcome, but it does get a little hot in front of the oven so make sure your child is old enough to handle that. Close toed shoes are recommended.
This workshop is weather dependent. The specialized equipment that is being used cannot get wet, therefore if there is even a possibility of rain, the workshop will be canceled. We will make the call the Thursday before the workshop by 3pm.
Because of this, we are doing payments a little different this year. We will taking a $5 deposit during sign-up. The Thursday before the workshop, we will text you and let you know whether or not the workshop is on. If the workshop is on, you will be sent a link to use to pay the remaining balance. If the workshop is not on, your $5 deposit will be refunded. If you have not paid your balance by 12pm that Friday, your spot will be forfeited and posted on-line for someone else.
If you’d rather not pay on-line, you can sign-up in person and pay your $5 deposit with cash, check or card. Or you can pay the total amount - $70 - by check. If you’d like to go this route, we will simply wait to cash or void your check until the Thursday before the workshop. Please make sure you tell staff what time slot you want if paying in person.
