Glassblowing Weekend

Join us for an exciting introductory weekend of glassblowing where you will gain first hand experience of this ancient craft. On day one get hands-on and learn how to gather, form and blow hot molten glass straight from the furnace. You will make a glass sphere, a paperweight, and a vase. The first day is fast-paced as we focus on hands-on techniques, and getting a feel for this fascinating material.
On the second day continue to gain expertise in blowing techniques as you explore further shapes and skills on the bench, making objects such as a tumbler, a bowl or plate, adding you own colours. A fun and immersive glass experience.
This is excellent value for money as you get two full days with a £70 discount on our normal one-day costs.
