Learn the basics of bead making with local guest artist and instructor Pony Crones who has 35 years of glass experience in bead making, stained glass, fused glass, mosaics, and seascape beveled boxes. In this 2 hour class, you will learn how to melt glass rods using a propane canister with a hot head. Techniques on decorating your beads with stringers, twisted cane, and mille fiore will be demonstrated. You can make as many beads as you wish. All materials included in class fee.
After the two hours, we will break for lunch; those who wish to continue can work during our Bead Lab at $40 per hour. This will include torch time, and all materials.
(Note: If you are currently experiencing issues with your neck or shoulders, you may want to hold off on this class).
