Read, discuss, and take action. Join the inaugural PPP Book Club event!
About this Event

Books change the world. And in a world in need of change, books show the way forward.

The People Planet Pint (PPP) Book Club brings together those interested in nature and sustainability to dive into the ideas that can shape our future. Topics up for discussion include climate, society, sustainability, wildlife, adventure and anything else linked to the natural world and our place in it.

How it works

It’s simple: Each month, we collectively choose a book. A month later, we gather over a coffee or a pint to discuss it.

  • Informal & Accessible: Just come along and join the discussion.
  • First-Timers Welcome: If it’s your first session, there is no expectation for you to have read the book! Just come for the conversation.

Reading for Action

What sets us apart? Our goal is for everyone to leave each session with one practical takeaway, a tangible change or action we can implement in our lives or communities. Real-world change often starts with books.

Our First Meet-Up

As this is our inaugural session, we’ll be:

  • Sharing what we’ve been reading recently.
  • Deciding on our group’s "ground rules" and how we want the club to run.
  • Voting on our very first book!

Come along to help shape this community from the ground up.
