Adult Autism-friendly session at Kelvin Hall

The Scottish Film Archive, which is now the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive, was established 50 years ago. To celebrate its birthday, Kelvin Hall is hosting an adult autism-friendly session exploring Glasgow Museums’ and the Moving Image Archive’s collections from the 1970s.

During this session, you’ll be able to discover Glasgow Museums objects relating to the 1970s. You will have the opportunity to handle objects and hear the stories behind them.

You’ll also be able to watch some films from the National Library of Scotland’s Moving Image Archive and there will be some 1970s-themed crafts to take part in.

The sessions are free and will be run on a drop-in basis, but please book if you would like to secure your space.

Kelvin Hall has a dedicated quiet room that can be used by those needing a calm space. It is located on the ground floor beside the Sports Hall. Please ask staff for directions.
