About this Event

The 1916 Rising Centenary Committee (Scotland) in partnership with the Scottish Labour History Society, are delighted to host the popular 'Glasgow and the Irish Revolution Walking Tour.' Led by members of the 1916 Rising Centenary Committee (Scotland) Stephen Coyle and Keith Stoddart. Starting from Moore Street at the former Meat Market Arch (off Gallowgate) at 2pm, we'll walk via Glasgow Green through sites of arms caches, drilling grounds, arrests and shootouts! The walking tour will finish at the site of the old Duke Street J*il.
