Glamstar are a 5 piece glam rock tribute band based in Bromley, South London and North Kent/Surrey areas.
Having grown up during the glam rock era the music, bands and style were an early influence on them as musicians, with the likes of T Rex, David Bowie and Queen in particular making a big impression, providing them with a first hand insight to the performance and showmanship that the genre is renowned for.
Over the past ten years Glamstar have honed their act to provide the ultimate glam rock tribute and have added their own unique approach and style to provide the perfect party atmosphere at their gigs.
Glamstar will take on a journey back to the seventies to relive the pomp and glamour of the glam rock heyday.
With all the glitter and colour of the outrageous costumes, and authentic renditions of the music, Glamstar will recreate the atmosphere of this iconic era of pop rock music in one night of entertainment! Playing all the hits from artists such as T Rex, David Bowie, Queen, The Sweet, Mud, Mott the Hoople, Slade, Suzi Quatro, Alice Cooper, Elton John, Steve Harley and many more, Glamstar will provide you with an evening of pure nostalgia and reminiscence of those heady days.
