A retired glaciologist reflects on a life dedicated to studying and documenting Iceland's glaciers, whilst a new generation of scientists has taken over the field work as the ice rapidly recedes. The film was captured on Leica SL3-S cameras and a combination of Leica Vario lenses and Leitz Cine lenses. Following a screening of the film join us for a panel discussion with the directors Donal Boyd & Emma Romeijn to learn more about the film and their process behind the development and execution of bringing this documentary to life.

Artist Bios: Donal Boyd and Emma Romeijn are the filmmaker duo behind Atlas 1 Studio, working across directing, producing, filming, and editing to craft cinematic, character-driven stories. Their work focuses on the intersection of people, wildlife, and conservation, often collaborating with NGOs and organizations around the world. Blending strong visual storytelling with impact-driven narratives, they create films and photography that aim to expand reach, deepen connection, and inspire action.
