Come join us November 1st. to celebrate our annual Giving Shelter Gala! We will have live music by Jackson Neves, Cocktails by Freitas Liquors, and catering by "On the Go"! There will be a silent auction from 6pm-8:45pm. We are excepting donations of any kind, new items only, gift cards, monetary donations, gift baskets, whatever you are able to give us we would greatly appreciate! Our deadline for donations for our event is October 18th. The Gala is the shelters biggest fundraiser, only 8% of the operating costs are covered by municipal funds; the remaining 92% comes from charitable donations, endowments, adoptions, and fundraising events. A large part of the success of the Gala is our silent auction with items valued at over $100, donated by local businesses and individuals who believe in supporting our cause. As a donor your name along with a description of the item donated will appear in our event program. Our core focus is the sheltering and care of the animals in distress and the placement of all adoptable animals into loving homes. We are committed to increasing public education on animal welfare issues and providing a friendly and responsive approach to animal adoption efforts. We believe that a community has the responsibility to treat animals with care and kindness.
