Give a Toy, Get a Toy: Dell Children's Holiday Drive
About this Event
Two years ago this November, I started a grassroots project with a simple mission: to spread joy by giving away free toys at all of my shows. Since then, I've given away over 900 toys to kids and adults alike.
Now, to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, I want to expand this project to a very special group of children—those who can’t be out at live music shows because they are receiving critical treatment at Dell Children’s Medical Center.
Our goal is to connect two amazing communities of families and kids together through the power of kindness.
To make this happen, we are hosting a massive community festival and toy drive on November 1st, featuring a "Give a Toy, Get a Toy" swap!
When you bring a new, prepackaged toy to donate (or make a monetary donation directly to Dell Children's right here on this page), you get to take a free plush stuffed animal home with you. It is a simple way to encourage kids to spread kindness to others and get a little bit of magic back in return.

Come out on November 1st and celebrate community with us! The event features:

* 🎪 Community Partners: Interactive tabling from the Austin Public Library, Keep Austin Beautiful, The Trail Conservancy, We Are Blood, and more
* 🏆 Costume Contest: Show off your best Halloween costumes for a chance to win prizes
* 🌮 Local Eats: Delicious tastings from Criolla Kitchen and Cheeky Olives.
* 🎨 Fun Activities: Crafts for the kids with a Messages to Dell Children's table where you can write encouraging letters to children receiving treatment.
If you can't make it to the event in person, you can still be a part of this circle of kindness! Every dollar donated to this fundraising page goes directly to Dell Children’s Medical Center to support local kids and their families during their toughest moments.
