About this Event
Chinmaya Mission is embarking on global programming that marks its 75th milestone of teaching Vedanta to seekers worldwide. As part of this effort, the Mission would like to honor the Bhagavad-Gītā as it contains the essence of all the Upaniṣads. Swami Tejomayananda and Swami Swaroopananda have chosen five verses from the Bhagavad-Gītā that bring out its essence and simplicity (Gita Panchamrit).
These verses were carefully selected because they offer a complete spiritual path, guiding the seeker from self-effort to surrender and from purposeful action to inner freedom. For the 75th year of the Chinmaya Mission Movement, all seekers are requested to partake in this beautiful practice of chanting, singing, studying and reflecting to absorb the Gita’s essence, live its wisdom, and share its light. Through simple and consistent practice, it becomes a source of strength, clarity, and upliftment in daily life.
This year, Chinmaya Mission New York is sharing the Gita Panchamrit through an enriching discourse by Brni. Shubhani Chaitanya which will open with a musical performance by Grammy Award Winner Falu Shah.
This is a free event. Please RSVP to attend and share this message with all of your friends and family so that the knowledge of oneness, devotion and surrender reverberate in our entire community.
