Let's get our stomping shoes on and come together in true sisterhood to bring the best sober rave to town!Girls Like Bass is coming to Totnes for the first time! WE LOVE DANCE MUSIC , We looooove to party, and we love to take care of ourselves.
What better way than to come together with like-minded women + pals, to dance, connect, nurture ourselves and let our wild selves be known! Join the sober dance revolution with us this April as we take over the The Mill in true Girls Like Bass style!
Be home and tucked in bed by midnight, wake up hang-over free but with the buzz from an epic girls night out!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Girls Like Bass is an 'early rave' night consisting of 3 hours of dance music, connective/ supportive nest, chill out space, Karmaceuticals botanical bar (no alcohol), glitter body art, body massage and so much more.
We feel the importance of creating a space that not only gives a 'rave' experience but is safe and welcoming for all women and pals who are on their sober path.
Whether you are sober-curious, in recovery or years down your sober life, we invite you to come and enjoy an experience that aims to leave you feeling uplifted, connected and free to be who you are.
LOVE YOUR BODY
When was the last time you really allowed yourself to be wild and truly let go? At Girls Like Bass, loving your body is at the forefront of our ethos. If you want to let yourself be free, you are so welcome! If you want to cover yourself in glitter, you are so welcome! If you want to draw over your body, you are so welcome!
We will have body artists ready and awaiting your gorgeous self to be transformed into a dancing work of art. It’s time to let go of any negative beliefs that you think about yourself and start to own who you are! I hope this experience can shed a light on you and leave a mark that will inspire you to live each day in your epic self!

We are bringing a fresh new collaboration with the dynamic team of females from Karmaceuticals and their Booze-Free, Botanical Cocktails! You each will receive a FREE DRINK with your ticket. Choose from one of their four herbal elixirs that offer the distinct and desirable feelings for a great night out. Whether it's a social battery boost, dancefloor energy, increased euphoria, or quicker wit, these flavorsome extracts are here to elevate your experience while being your best authentic self!

We will have a small hangout space at The Mill on the first floor alongside some colouring and other ways to connect with each other.
Dive into deep conversation with our Tarot Oracle, receive nourishing touch from our Masseuse, glitter yourself up with our body artists, strengthen friendships and connect deeper in the hang out and creative areas.

DJ LADY WYLDE (RESIDENT GIRLS LIKE BASS DJ)
Music is the rhythm that has been the focal point of Lucy’s life. Whether it’s performing on stage, sharing her own songs or creating mixes through her decks, getting the crowd flowing with her eccentric vocal range over tracks, or winding you down with a deeply immersive sound bath, Lucy brings her fullest self to each moment. Her relationship to music is unique and this is shown through all walks of her work. Lucy has a deep love for drum and bass and at Girls Like Bass her sets will be celebrating this, igniting a journey of ecstatic dance music to move your body and wild heart.
DJ PHOËNIX
Zoë, DJ Phoënix is inspired in music and life by creating more ecstatically alive and embodied states of being. Working professional and curiously with the body in more ways than one - DJing is an extension of that intention, and each set is carefully crafted to provoke and welcome all the parts of being alive on a somatic level. DJ Phoënix has shared her sets in many locations of many flavours around the world, but you can consistently expect deep, playful, sexy and primal to be the bass-line of all music she plays.
