Girl Scouts Statehouse Tour + Legislative Session

Hey there, Girl Scouts! Ready to explore where the magic happens? Join us for the fun and informative Statehouse Tour – an exciting in-person adventure to see the heart of our state government. You'll get to walk through historic halls, learn cool facts, and maybe even meet some state leaders. Following the tour, the girls will get to participate in a mock legislative session. Don't miss out on this awesome chance to discover how laws are made and have a blast with your friends! Tour will count towards earning the Democracy for Seniors badge (badge to be purchased seperately).

Entrance

Tour guests should enter the complex through the Welcome Center located at the rear/riverside of the building. The State House Tour Entrance and Welcome Center is located on the south side of the Complex using the Capitol Plaza stairs or sidewalks located off Barrack Street.

Parking

Metered and accessible parking is available along West State Street. Public parking is available in the Capitol Complex Garage on Level 1. Accessible parking is available on Level 2. Public parking garages are available at 1 W. Lafayette St., 16 E. Front Street, and 110 North Warren Street
