The Cochise County Service Unit is excited to partner with the American Legion Women's Auxiliary for a special Poppy Making Party! 🌺This hands-on event will give Girl Scouts the opportunity to learn about the history and significance of Memorial Day poppies and why they are a symbol of remembrance for our veterans and fallen heroes. We will also discuss National Poppy Day, observed on May 23, 2025.
🎨 What’s Happening:
✅ Learn the history behind the poppy tradition
✅ Make your own poppies with provided supplies
✅ Earn a fun patch
✨ All supplies will be provided by the American Legion Women's Auxiliary!
