Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Pond Investigators
About this Event
Calling all girl scouts! Let’s explore the outdoors in this girl scouts only program! Learn about our pond ecosystems. Scoop up pond critters to observe them up close! We will hike up to 1 mile. Please note, trails are not stroller friendly.
WHEN: Saturday, September 12th, 1pm - 3pm
WHERE: Nature Interpretive Center. Please use our address to navigate to the park: 2351 Veterans Road West, Staten Island, NY 10309
WHO: Girl scouts of all ages.
All programs are free! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If we are sold out, feel free to walk up and see if we have open spots.
Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, call for updates. Please dress tick-safe by wearing hiking boots or sneakers, tall socks pulled up over pantlegs, and bug spray.
