Celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math at our annual STEM Day on November 2 in Salem! Explore the STEM expo with hands-on booths and discover the Chemeketa Community College campus as you participate in unique workshops hosted by various departments! Begin working on a car in the auto shop, code a robot in the robotics lab, or discover the technology of farming at the greenhouse.The expo-style booths include exciting topics like understanding the brain with OHSU, bird banding and research with ODFW, digital creativity and graphic design with Adobe, engineering with OSU, clean energy with PGE, and hands-on construction with NAWIC.
STEM Day is open to everyone—you don't have to be a Girl Scout to attend! Siblings and friends are also welcome, so share this event with your friends! Visit girlscoutsosw.org/stemday and sign up by October 26 to secure your spot. All participants will receive a STEM Day fun patch!
STEM Day is sponsored by First Tech Credit Union and held in partnership with Chemeketa Community College.
