This event is a multi-faceted community cultural celebration, which is free to attend and family-friendly. The event consists of a community altar where attendees can share pictures of their deceased loved ones as well as place their favorite objects on the community altar. We provide activities for all ages such as sugar skull decorating, paper flower making, Dia de los Muertos face painting, loteria (Mexican Bingo), traditional arts & crafts, and much more.
Attendees are greeted at the door with free hot chocolate and pan dulce (traditional Mexican pastries). Our event will featured Mexican art vendors and snack vendors.
The most captivating element of our event is our line-up of cultural entertainment from various dance groups from the community including our own Ballet Folklórico Tlanese.
